1937 Avanti Versus 2007 Anna
Here's an interesting sequence of photos that demonstrate how over a fairly long period of time the craft of boat building really hasn't changed all that much. Each sequence shows an image of Avanti (design #85), built at the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company in 1937 followed by a sequence image of Anna (design #2721), constructed in 2007 by Brooklin Boat Yard. It's incredibly similar considering 70 years separate the two boats.
