  1. This boat reminds me of an old Darryl McClure cartoon from Yachting magazine's glory years. In the first panel a young man, barefoot in a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, is sailing a dinghy, perhaps an Interclub, and he is gazing longingly at a boat underway slightly larger and grander than his own. In the next panel he is under way in the new, larger boat and once more he is lusting after another boat, again one just a little bigger and nicer than his own. This goes on through several panels and several boats until, in the last panel our fellow, now with white hair and moustache, dressed in yachting cap and blue blazer, is standing at the stern rail of the craft shown here, gazing longingly at a barefoot young .an in shorts and T-shirt sailing along in a dinghy.
