Design 973 - 143' Coastal Freighter

Built by the Jakobson Shipyard of Oyster Bay, New York, this shallow draft ship was built to cover numerous ports on the West African coast. The vessel was designed with a continuous double bottom and constructed of steel.

Note the deep propeller tunnels for draft reduction.
