Design 227 - Cruisailer 41

The Cruisailer 41 was developed for the same client as the Cruisailer 55. Click here for a link to that posting. I can't tell how many of these boats were built. The one shown above was built by M. M. Davis & Son of Solomons, Maryland who incidentally built the Cruisailer 55s which were to follow a few years later.

  1. one of those three was the boat Downwindwich is currently the last of the three and is on its 5th capt. it is currently in disrepair and was give to him when the old capt. was going to loose the boat for not paying rent at a marina it is the prittyest boat that I have ever seen and im the proudest man in the world to be able to say that I own downwind. It has seen drugs, drunks, a millionares.
