Design 1330 - Madrigal

This nice looking yawl was built by Paul E. Luke of East Boothbay, Maine. She has been in the same family since her launch in 1958. There is something "just right" about her profile and sheer line.

Here are the plans. The layout is just fantastic.

It is interesting to note that these plans were utilized for a sistership named Leventades. You can see from the following image that she is a flush deck version with dog house well aft.

Leventades was built by Cantieri Costaguta of Genova-Voltri, Italy.

Principal Dimensions
LOA 46'-0"
LWL 32'-6"
Beam 11'-11"
Draft 6'-11"
Displacement 27,051 lbs
Ballast 10,500 lbs
Sail Area 1,030 sq ft

    1. The Levantades for sale in Italy is a sistership of
Madrigal, while the photo show Levantades II a later design of S&S for Beppe Diano (lft 15,4 mt).
