Design 2455 - Sea Angel


Sea Angel was one of the first of the S&S "mega" motorsailers developed in the 1980s. She was built by Stephens Marine of Stockton, California, in aluminum. Modern sail handling was necessary due to the high loads experienced and these early boats generally sported in-mast furling (where today we use in-boom furling). She was launched in 1986. Sea Angel is a charter yacht operating out of California (I think). Click here to be taken to her website where you can see a number of interior images.
