Design 1331 - Egret


This typical S&S motorsailer was built by Abeking & Rasmussen of Germany. She was launched in 1958. She is constructed of wood with normal S&S specifications; white oak structure, double planking of mahogany and bronze fastenings.

  1. Just bought her in Denmark she is now sailing in the baltic sea registered in Hamburg. Really in a good shape still. Comfortable and solid built yacht. I do know about some history starting with C. Porter Schutt but there is a gap in-between him and the owner I bought her from. If there is someone knowing more about her please tell me. She was imported into Europe named Owl, but I could not finde out who named her so. I would really appreciate.
