Design 1873 - DEB 33

This fiberglass production yacht was developed for Deacons Boatyard, located at Bursledon on the Hamble in Hampshire, England. The boat was developed as a family boat first and foremost, but with racing in mind, a cruiser/racer in the true (if not frugal) sense of the word. The fiberglass fabrication was done at Tyler Boat Company, nearby to the yard.

The boat was introduced in 1969, and about 50 boats were built during the production run.

Here are the plans.

Principal Dimensions
LOA 33'-5"
LWL 24'-0"
Beam 10'-4"
Draft 3'-7" (board up) 6'-7" (board down)
Displacement 12,500 lbs
Ballast 5,200 lbs
Sail Area 490 sq ft
