Design 2499 - Sunward 63

This big center cockpit cruising boat was introduced as a fiberglass production yacht but I believe only one boat was ever built. She was designed for and built by the Sunward Yacht Corporation of North Carolina. Construction is of hand laid fiberglass over Airex (foam) core and using Vinylester resin.

It's a big volume boat with a great interior layout. Note the small cabin off the navigation area for a single crew member plus accommodations for four couples. It looks like she was designed with the charter trade in mind.

The boat seen here is named Zaberdast. She was launched in 1988.

Here are the plans.

Principal Dimensions
LOA 62'-6"
LWL 48'-0"
Beam 16'-7"
Draft 7'-0"
