Design 1706 - Challenge


This big aluminum sloop was built by Burger Boat of Wisconsin. She is constructed of aluminum and launched in 1963.

  2. Looking at the plans in greater detail (and at a larger scale) I can see they are for powered vent blowers as follows:
    starboard forward - galley range hood
    port forward - head vent blower
    starboard aft - engine room vent blower
    port aft - head vent blower

    3. When we charted challenge in the mid seventies she was still owned by "Fleet wood mack" She was beautiful and a delight to sail.
