Design 832 - Chance


This handsome little yawl was built by Albert Lemos of Riverside, Rhode Island. I wish we had a photograph of her. She was launched in 1949. The article below from Yachting magazine tells the story. Please double click for zoom.

  1. Good afternoon, Chance is on her way to the Carribean with her new owners, french sailors Lysiane and Eric Darnat. They bought her last year in Crisfield, Md, and took her to Branford, CT, for a refit. In my gallery ( http://gallery.me.com/laurentapollonimages#gallery ) you 'll find 4 albums about her. She is a beautiful boat, a real pleasure to steer.
