Design 1261 - Mah Jong


Here's a great looking boat with a great story. She was built of local woods like yacal, ipol, teak and mahogany at the Cheoy Lee Shipyard of Hong Kong and launched in 1957.

  1. Nice to see this design posted. I did some work on Mah Jong at a little yard in Oxford, Md sometime in 1977. What was really nifty about her was the exotic woods throughout, and carvings everywhere. Dragons were much a theme. I wonder where Mah Jong is now?
