This beautiful motorsailer was built by Abeking & Rasmussen of Germany and was launched in 1958. She is constructed of steel. The boat is still actively sailed and makes her home port in San Fransisco Bay.

Here are a couple of magazine articles about her.

Here are the plans.

  1. Actually, Cordonazo makes her home port in Pensacola, Florida, where it has been for the last 15 years, but is still actively sailing!

  2. There is "a" Cordonazo in San Francisco, but "the original" Cordonazo is in Pensacola, FL.

  3. Had the pleasure of being aboard her yesterday (04/12/2018) as a guest of the owners to watch the tall ships enter Pensacola Bay. An incredible yacht to say the least!
